University of Memphis - Journalism - Memphis, Tennessee

I am a recent graduate from the University of Memphis. I received my degree in journalism and strategic media. I have an affinity for sports writing and photography. I was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee and I hope to one day work for a pro team or sports news outlet. I have written for the Daily Helmsman, I currently run a Dallas Sports Nation Twitter page, and I am a producer at Sports56 in Memphis.

I started college in 2015 and after exploring several majors and then transferring to the University of Memphis I decided I wanted to study something that could get me into a sports media field. My advisor stuck me into journalism and I have loved it.

My longterm goal goal is to work for a professional sports team. I know that is a pretty large goal, but I feel like if I’m confident I can speak it into existence.
